We are experiencing significant growth and as a result we are currently require a Senior SQL Developer to join our dynamic team at Mansfield.

A Web SQL Developer is required to develop cutting edge, web based applications for our various clients in the fulfilment services industry.

Customer communication is a vital element in this role so clear, concise English is essential. This role is not the usual developers job, it includes a variety of data driven applications, this role would suit someone who is flexible, analytical and loves to troubleshoot and problem solve!

Key components of this role include:

• Design, develop and maintain application programs in ASP, VB.NET and Access.
• Developing, enhancing, troubleshooting stored procedures for database applications
• Developing and optimising stored procedures and views for stability, scalability and efficiency
• Designing and optimizing database schema, queries, and complex stored procedures
• Development and Support of Production facing Database Systems
• Assist and advise junior developers with new projects and work with developers in identifying, resolving and proactively working to prevent performance or other production impacting issues
• Consulting with internal customers and team members to design and code to meet their requirements.

You will require the following technical experience:

• Strong Architecture design skills and knowledge of software design patterns
• 3 years+ commercial development experience
• 3 years+ experience across the following toolsets: ASP and SQL programming and development VB.NET and Access
• Solid knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 (Database Design and Development)
• Strong Architecture design skills and knowledge of design methodology
