
Data Support Officer
We are currently seeking a Data Support Officer to join our Data Services team. We are presently located at Mansfield but will be relocating to larger premises at Murrarie in late January.
As a Data Support Officer you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to all internal departments. Your main function will be to accurately format client data, merge name and address records, and set up documents suitable for printing; whilst meeting both the client’s specifications and GJI’s quality and system requirements.

The Person
We are seeking someone with excellent customer service skills who has an interest in a varied role that combines excellent customer service and data skills. The successful candidate will be someone who thrives on working in a fast paced, solution orientated, deadline driven environment.

Position Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, process & manipulate data prior to use in the production division before deadline
- Set-up documents to use in the production division using custom software with Word programs
- Complete daily database management tasks such as report generation
- Liaising with internal departments to provide information regarding client data
- Identify improvements/issues of datasets
- Providing support and expert advice to all other internal departments
- Managing Data Support emails and job scheduling
- Assisting Data Support Team Leader where necessary
Your Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to communicate to both technical and business customers
- Exceptional Time Management and multi tasking skills
- The ability to cope with pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to self manage and work as an individual as well as a team member
- Intermediate skills and experience with: Microsoft Office, Excel and Access Software
- Prior experience with Mail Merge software and processes is ideal
