GJI Climbs the Story Bridge

On Saturday 17th of April the GJI team climbed the Story Bridge. Everyone had a great time together and enjoyed incredible views of the Brisbane CBD, Glasshouse Mountains, Mt Coot-tha, Moreton Bay and the Gold Coast. After the 2.5 hour climb the team met in Captain Burke Park and enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Wok On Catering. Apart from a few sore leg muscles the next day everyone had a fantastic time.

Register NOW for GJI's 7th Annual Charity Golf Day

Each year GJI hosts a charity Golf Day to support SU Qld Chaplains who positively impact young people across Queensland. The target is to raise $50, 000 which will ensure 25 school Chaplains are trained and resourced to appropriately handle the multitude of issues our kids are facing today in the school yard and at home. Issues ranging from bullying, peer pressure, eating disorders through to sexual abuse, self harm and unfortunately suicide.

GJI celebrate Christmas at the Urban

Staff and partners celebrated Christmas in style at the GJI Christmas Party on Saturday 5th December at the Urban Hotel in Brisbane. Over 70 people all dressed to the nine’s enjoyed cocktail food and drinks whilst overlooking the city. Guests were entertained by the band “THE MESSAGE” and by the end of the night there were plenty of people on the dance floor (and some joining the band!).

The first Annual GJI Sales Conference Weekend.

The first Annual GJI Sales Conference Weekend commenced at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Coolum on Friday the 10th October 2008, for the Sales, Print, Data and Customer Service Teams. Everyone was very excited and full of energy on the Saturday morning after a good rest in our villas. After indulging in a 5 star breakfast full of anything we fancied, our training was off to a flying start with a warm up activity hosted by the Hyatt Activity Team near our conference room.

GJI assists FKP to slash a massive 23% from their ballooning postage costs.

FKP LIMITED had been nationally sending their magazine to clients plastic-wrapped and delivered through Australia Post. The coordination between the printing and mail aspects for this mail piece contributed to them not being delivered on time as expected. FKP needed to effectively coordinate these processes in order to ‘STAY IN FRONT’.

St Peters Lutheran College produces a variety of print, each with particular print requirements. The college was consulting more than three print businesses and experienced poor service with unprofessional advice. St Peters were also spending valuable time collecting individual quotes for each project, which was proving to be very costly and inefficient. St Peters were therefore seeking an effective way to consolidate all of their print needs enabling them to STAY IN FRONT. For this reason, consultation with GJI was engaged.
