FRONTLINE APPEAL

Since SU Queensland introduced the first state school chaplain in Queensland in 1989, this service has grown to nearly 500 chaplains in over 600 primary and secondary schools. Our chaplains work with students, their families and school staff to provide a positive example, an affirming relationship and expression of hope.

Many students who approach chaplains are devastated by family breakups, or are struggling with the ever-prevalent youth challenges of drugs, relationships, hopelessness and suicide. For Queensland's youth, chaplains are a frontilne defence against these issues.

By being a part of GJI's Charity Golf Day, you will be supporting chaplains and helping to change lives.
