Providing a spring of hope for SIDS and Kids Queensland

Almost 100 guests including a number of GJI representatives and clients attended the annual SIDS and Kids Queensland luncheon that was held on Friday 2nd October at The Marriott, Brisbane.
SIDS and Kids Queensland, best known for the national Red Nose Day Campaign, have held a Gala Ball and the annual luncheon for the past 6 years. Always an inspiring event, this year’s annual luncheon saw guests share an emotional journey with special guest speaker journalist Jane Hansen. Jane chronicled her exciting life as a foreign correspondent on the front-line of war-zones, her dreams for a perfect family and the tragic and untimely death of her sons.
SIDS and Kids Queensland know how to put the Fun into FUNdraising and they didn’t disappoint as guests eagerly purchased 300 lucky envelopes in record-time! A number of limited-edition and rare auction items were also available on the day including sport, musical and entertainment memorabilia.
Money raised from this vital fundraising event will allow SIDS and Kids Queensland to continue providing a range of bereavement support services including counselling to anyone in Queensland who has experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a child.
GJI have always been thrilled to support SIDS and Kids Queensland at this, and other events, and encourage other businesses to do the same!
